Dear
Charlie,
I’ve
recently read your strongly worded article about young Miley Cyrus. I would like to counter what you say. In my opinion she is a very witty and
intelligent for re-inventing her form of dance (twerking) and using her
signature move of sticking her tongue out.
This has given her mass publicity.
The whole world is talking about her!
As a result, people have been listening to her music and she has hit the
number one spot on numerous occasions her an extremely wealthy woman.
Another
point you missed is that in a recent interview, Miss Cyrus makes a very valid
point as to why she is doing what she is doing.
She asks a rhetorical question
demanding to know if anyone has heard of rock’n’roll. She goes on to say that in every single music
video there is a sex scene yet the public just say it’s just a character and
that’s what she believes she is: an act.
While
you’ve been busy absolutely slating Miss Cyrus for showing off her body, in a
recent video Rihanna is shown naked in a bath and Katy Perry is shown naked in
her video. As for the models such as
Emily Ratajkowski in Robin Thikke’s Blurred Lines – no words are needed. Maybe you should take a look at the rest of
the world Mr Brooker, rather than just focussing on one individual.
