Miley Cyrus Review

The article starts off with a reference to Mileys life using a well-known phrase with a twist ‘Sex, drugs and pop music’ to make the reader more familiar to the lifestyle of Miley and also to portray her crazy lifestyle. This statement is somewhat factual as it indeed describes the lifestyle of Miley as she dose admit to drug uses and sexual suggestive dancing but does have rather a negative connotation. The article continues on to talk about Mileys recent affairs and actions describing her as a ‘Provocative singer’ and saying how she lost her ‘Innocent Disney image’-‘Along with most her clothes’. These extracts are also somewhat factual but also with a negative and biased tone. This is expressed by explaining how she is no longer innocent and has somewhat turned into a provocative and drugged u singer. However further on in the article there are defensive quotes form Miley about her recent appearances in the headlines as she defends the way she acts and explains how it occurs in many films all the time and that she’s not the only one acting in this fashion.  This therefore provides a more open argument to the article as it provides the reader with somewhat of a justification for Mileys actions. On the other hand the article mainly consist of negative and shaming comments about Miley and the only defensive comments are from Miley herself, consequently providing the article with a very biased approach and most likely leaving the reader with a negative feeling toward Miley.
